Our SeyBooking.com Travel Review:
The Salazie Trail in Seychelles is a unique journey through the island’s lush tropical forests, mountains, and breathtaking views. This trail is accessible only by foot, making it a perfect way to experience the beauty of the Seychelles in a natural and unspoiled way. The trail is divided into three sections, each offering a different experience.
The first section of the Salazie Trail is known as the “Valley of the Giants” and is the most challenging of the three. This section of the trail is steep and technical, with some parts requiring a rope to ascend and descend. The views of the valley below, with its giant trees, are truly spectacular. As you ascend, you will also be able to take in the views of the nearby mountains and the Indian Ocean. This section of the trail takes around four hours to complete.
The second section of the trail is the “Circuit de la Salazie”. This is a relatively easy hike, and it takes around two hours to complete. This section of the trail is mostly flat, with some rocky sections and a few small hills. Along the way, you will pass through some of the most beautiful forests.
